About The Headliner:

After more than a decade spent winning over listeners with their infusion of Red Dirt with Southern Rock, the hard-driving Southall has found the journey to be more fun than any destination. "It doesn't matter what you're riding, it's just that you're riding," founder and frontman Read Southall says. "That's the thrill of it." The result is a dynamic band still realizing its potential since rebranding in 2023 after seven years as The Read Southall Band â€" and showcased on the group's fourth and fifth studio albums â€" Southall in 2023 and Kinfolk in 2026.



Southall averages more than 1.1 million monthly Spotify listeners. In 2025, during the band's debut performance on the Grand Ole Opry, Southall was honored with its first RIAA platinum certification for the single "Why" off of the first full-band LP from the group, 2017's Borrowed Time. Whether touring the world as a headliner or sharing the stage with the likes of Whiskey Myers, the Black Crowes, Dwight Yoakam and Blackberry Smoke, Southall pairs enough energy to bring any crowd to its feet with the intense, hard-living lyrics of its frontman.
